We acquired our first Great Dane in 1988, we then fell in love with the breed
and acquired another female that came from BMW and Riverwood
bloodlines . The first black and white litter was born in 1990.
We decided to obtain European lines in 1999 and we were lucky enough
to get our first 2 females from a breeder here in the USA. Then we began to
Import our breeding stock from Europe in 2001. Since then we have
Imported several Danes from various Countries.
These Guidelines below are to help you ,when you have decided to
purchase a pup from MeadowLark Great Danes.
We produce the following colors: Harlequin, Mantle, Black, Merle and Blue
and Black from Blue Black Lines strive to breed color pure lines that the
GDCA has established.
If you are interested in a Puppy from us, please e-mail us and request a
Puppy Application. This is the first step in our selection process. This
helps us place you with a pup that fits your lifestyle. The right pup in the
right home is always our #1 priority .
WE offer lifetime support to all Meadowlark puppy families.
We require a deposit to reserve a puppy. Most times we have a waiting list
and will accept deposits once the litter arrives. Please note: this is on a
"first come-first serve basis"
{ first deposit received will be the first to choose their pup and so on}
Deposits are 500.00, we accept Paypal, cash and Certified funds for
deposits.
We will not refund deposits, we will give you a credit if you want to
purchase a puppy from the next litter.
We require that all pets be spay/neutered by 9-12 months of age, AKC
limited registration papers are sent to you once a certificate of
spay/neutered is received.
We do ship worldwide. Shipping costs vary within the USA. Shipping an
8-10 week old pup is under 350.00 USD ( this price does not include the
cost of a crate or health certificate from a Vet. )
We do not crop puppy's ears, but we may be able to refer you to a Vet in
your area that does.
We ask that you email us pictures of your puppy every 3-4 months. This is
important to us as it enables us to see that your pup is developing and
growing correctly.
We want you to be happy with your puppy. We would like to see that you
and your companion live many happy years together. Please stay in
contact with us.
We offer lifetime support to all of our puppy buyers, after all, we want you
to come back to us again when you want to add another Great Dane to
your family.
